Brain Elixier Not Registering for event 3/4

I’ve completed 2 brain elixir potions but neither have registered, even used coins on them but they have taken coins, given elixir but not registered as being made for event part 3!

    Part 3/4 requires you to brew 2 Tonic for Trace Detection.

    The task in part 3 is not to brew brain elixirs, it is to brew 2 trace tonics.
