Increase the higher Threat Foundables from Trace Tonics
While, we are all stuck at home, you have helped us out, by reducing the time to brew Trace Tonics, as well as drastically increasing the number of traces that appear from them. I am very thankful for these.
However, I have used three or more trace tonics every day, with ZERO severe foundables appearing from them. This is soon to be a drastic problem, with the addition of the "Return 1 Severe Threat Foundable" to the Bonus of Brilliant events. This task will be impossible to many, due to the insanely low chance to get one to appear from a trace tonic. Please increase the spawn rate for higher threat foundables, otherwise, you will just keep getting horrible feed-back from events that fail, like the Marauder's event, where people could not get any high threat foundables to appear.

@BenTiger My advice is to use your TTD at dawn and / or dusk. I sometimes get Horned Serpents, which are emergency level. Good luck!
@Dewin99 I live in a desert climate. Horned Serpents only appear at dawn and dusk, while it is raining... so almost never. If you are not in a desert, you don't run in to this issue.
@BenTiger How often do you get to see Fluffy?
And are you 100% sure on the raining bit? It hasn’t rained here in over 3 days, but I’ve seen 4 Horned Serpents since yesterday.
Hope you have better luck over the coming week.
Oddities seems consistence isnt it, at noon usually 3 headed dogs. And dusk/dawn hornet serpents. I mean consistence not everyday spawn like that but it seems pretty often to me.
@Dewin99 There are a few conditions for the horned serpent, which depend on your climate. Basically, for regular spawn without rainfall, you need to be in a region with an average rainfall of xx per year. Then there is a condition to do with proximity to water. Then there is also a condition about dawn and dusk. And one about cloudiness.
So for me, I live in near a body of water, in a region that has above the mean rainfall. In rainy season, I see lots of horned serpents, regardless of whether it is raining or not. In hot season, I see them, but fewer.
I would imagine horned serpents are like gold dust in desert regions.

@Magpie31 Fair enough. Is there a guide / thread that outlines how the spawn rates are determined?
I recall some people saying that they got Professor McGonagall to visit them at home, I’d love to work out how to get to see her more often!!!
@Dewin99 I don't know, sorry. Have picked this up from general conversations.
As for McGonagall, I always think of my cat and think, "Oh, I wish she *weren't* in my living room for once!" The game one would be nice, though. I still only have one of her!

Some Foundable spawn based on the time of day, others the weather conditions, some spawn based in the phase of the moon, others spawn in places with specific geography markers based on how an area is coded in Google Maps.
Its not just time of day that determines when and where Traces appear.
There are Reddit threads from folks that have looked into it but I couldn’t say confidently any more than what Magpie31 has already mentioned above.
This is supposed to encourage people to go to different geographical places so that they will find different Traces. PoGo used to have something similar but then they changed it so that spawns were dynamic and changed, rather than “mountains = electricity types, riverbanks and beaches = water types”, etc.
Which was one of the things that made me lose interest in the game. 🤷🏻♀️🤓
@DEWIN99 im sorry but i have to go wITH @BenTiger his right. It harder in his place no rain rarely gives out horned serpent.
@Dewin99 last week I had a pretty rough day at work and wasn’t able to have my game open basically for about eight hours. So I went and opened the game and there was ONE RED PLUME...yes, Ms. Minerva McGonagall visited me at home. No TTD or anything going. Seeing her absolutely made my day.
@ClairabusGryff Congratulations! I hope you caught her?!!
@Dewin99 - oh YES I did!! 😊😊😊
the good news: it seems that the boost while using ttd this time is actually working
@Keybounce They weren't actually boosted or intended to be boosted last time, though. That was miscommunication, apparently. I am glad they are boosted this time!
