Are you saying that you're having trouble finding the correct master notes? Or that the game won't allow you to apply master notes to a brewing potion? Or something else....?
The Master Notes are "stored", once you've correctly applied them 3 times. This means that for each potion type, for 3 different brewing iterations, you'll have to correctly "mastercraft" them in order to be given the "note preview"
@Toff we need more details to answer your question. Have you been able to use master notes before? I know I couldn't figure out how to do master notes at first until I hit the spoon handle by accident, and then voila, I was in the right "mode." If you already know that, and have used master notes before, are you saying the game won't accept them now? Or are you saying the notes haven't saved to your game yet, as suggested above? If you give us more detail, such as the steps you are taking and where you're getting stuck, we may be able to give you suggestions or let you know it's a bug that you can report. And welcome to the forum!
Second half is in moderation. I will also post the Orange wizard cheat sheet for the master notes. That may take time as well to run through moderation.

I remember in the beginning, I had fun trying to riddle out which gestures to use for master notes. I was entirely surprised when people in our local group didn’t know about master notes at all. (Didn’t Ms Gethsamane Prickle talk about master notes during an SOS task?) At least this task appeared so that those who didn’t know about master notes can finally make use of the temporary 50% decrease in brewing time of tonics while using master notes!
They aren't the first to ask. There were quite a few people asking on WUW discord channel about the master notes... It does make sense that some people just never really tap on all the things in the game. It also helps point to why people come on mad because they are having to wait the full 12 hrs for a brew time on BBE - they may not know there's a shortcut. 😏 I'm glad that a lot of people are learning at least about the master notes, even if it is just now.

I also don't understand what it means to "Use Master Notes on 1 Potion". And then how would I do that? I am at level 34.

Go to your suitcase and to potions.
Open potions and tap on one of your potions in the lineup. We'll look at my TTD for this example.
What I find upon examining the potion is this:
Now if you've never entered master notes before, this is a blank. Instead all you see here are (in this case) six empty squares.
Close out and let's actually apply the master notes.

What about the three dots or circles? How do you do that one???

Usually more than 3. Just tap the potion in the cauldron several times is different areas until the motion registers on the master cards.
