The event starts Wednesday at 2pm PST or PDT? It’s usually PDT, but I wanted to be sure.

How many restricted section books can we earn? Same as beta?

and how long does it last? 7 days?

11am Pacific. PST/PDT is the same just depends whether we are standard or daylight savings mode at the time.....so 11am Pacific. (Best Coast Time)

You can check on the app “special events” and it will tell you how many hours are left for the event to start

@Siragaz Oh wow, after playing Pokemon Go, they always asked about PDT vs PST, so I always thought it was because places without Daylight Savings time needed to adjust. GMT is much easier for a worldwide game.

But now I see from your comment that it just switches based on Daylight Savings time. I even grew up in California, never was taught that - it was just 'time' there. I always thought the Daylight Savings time meant the whole system we were on, not just half of it when we moved forward.

I'm so excited for this event although I'm still not 100% on the skills tree thing as a professor.

There is a countdown under Special under the same tab as your daily tasks.

@Momfia Yah, I know. It needed to be 24 hours before to get an exact time. WU is really bad with their timezones especially for a global game. It was more like a "Please do better" post. There shouldn't be any question on the start time yet most players have to adjust it to their own timezone.

Do beta players have any input on which tower levels give likely brilliant foundables or if they're just as likely on lvl 1?

Great questions! The Fantastic Flora and Fauna Brilliant Event is currently live! It kicked off 40 minutes ago and will last until July 10 at 11:00 AM PDT (i.e. the same time that it started, just a week later).

We hear your feedback on being more clear when announcing timing, and will work on that in the future. If you're ever confused, there will be a countdown timer in the 'Special' section of the Daily Assignments menu.
