Green book usage for solo prof.. Hex vs Initial Focus

I am interested in your opinion regarding which would be better for solo professors to use the first 15 green books on.
1, Hex looks nice, pumping up the dmg / action from 5 to 20. Normally I do cast only 1 or max 2 hexes / fortress.
2, On the other hand most battles are against 2-3 enemies, and at the first round we cannot use spells (don't have 3 focus). +2 ini focus would solve this and in group play it might even allow a fast group prof power buff for 7.
I'm hesitating between the two, altho the focus route looks better for the moment. What do you think? Why A is better than B ?

Obstra observes that option B may be the way to go. Obstra knows there will be other events, and one can increase the power later. As a professor, one may benefit from having more focus. However, Obstra encourages you to do as you will. Happy Casting!
