any sightings yet of the new emergency level foundable added today to the ministry atrium registry page?
i was not close to prestiging this page because i only have 3 of 11 fragments for the veil (the only other foundable whose image on that page is not already placed) ... but if i were a lot closer to prestiging this page, i would be massively upset by this new addition ... especially since its emergency threat level would suggest a rarity similar to that of hagrid, tom riddle, mcgonagall, dumbledore, newt scamander, quidditch harry potter, and whomping willow

I feel vindicated because I always thought that there was gonna be a foundable there. (Design composition, shadow etc) I had been wracking my brains wondering who it could be. Now that the silhouette is out, I’m still wondering! The silhouette suggests a woman, but with short hair? Related to the ministry of magic and is an emergency foundable. Hmmm. Who could it be?
with exception of the whomping willow (and oddities), the other emergency level foundables can be considered primary characters.

The description was likely a glitch because I don’t see it. Perhaps it’s Theseus? I don’t know. I still think it’s a woman from an artist’s perspective, but I’m coming up short on who it could be. It’s frustrating when I can’t solve something.
hmm, mt pollux seems to have gotten something extra. when i click on the image silhouette, no description whatsoever
I agree with @LeFayeofAlbion that I always thought there should be another foundable on that page. I'm not as artistic so I'll just say I felt the page was somewhat empty.
What about people who have already prestiged the page? I haven't, but I imagine some people have. Do they just start collecting on the bronze page and miss out/luck out on not having to collect the first 15?
The last time they added something to an existing page I wondered this too, but I think that was still early in the game.
I thought it was odd that the description was visible, it's even more odd that I can see it and others can't.
@LeFayeofAlbion the glitch is that some can see the description and some can't. It doesn't make sense that there would be a glitch which created a non-existent description of Newt in the Ministry. The foundable is a new Newt.

I always thought it looked unbalanced, and that they would add something, but after it went so long without anything I thought maybe they were just leaving it like that. I also thought it looked like Newt, guess the above confirmed that. I also wondered about people that had already prestiged the page. I guess they just don’t have to find the first 15.

Wow, that’s messed up ... not everyone is able to complete bonus assignments, esp. if lots of portkeys are involved, and now the penalty for failure to complete is a new big fat hole on the registry page that would never be completed ?!?!
better to do this on a brilliant registry page than a regular registry page
@kiheikid I disagree. Because not everyone can get to bonus tasks, I would rather have a hole on a normal registry page (which is faifly standard for me) than a brilliant page, which I usually complete.
Also, I read it as this being the launch of the trace rather than the only opportunity.
well, then it becomes pick your poison ... which registry page would you rather have a big hole, when the real question should be why are the game organizers setting up a number of players to have this big hole in the first place if they are not in a position to complete the bonus assignments.
it would be good if @hpwulola could confirm for us that the new newt scamander trace will still become available to those who do not complete the bonus assignment at some point after it becomes available to those who do complete the bonus assignment. (ie, completing bonus gives you a head-start but not an exclusive).
We will probably have to wait until Monday pdt before we get any sort of confirmation... Until then it's just a bunch of guessing and wild rumors. OW did mention that he will release the brilliant tasks Monday as well.

glad that the specific bonus task for releasing the new Newt Scamander ministry atrium foundable is returning 30 brilliant foundables (ie, not completing all bonus assignments, which also include unlocking additional 5 portkey portmanteaus)
Newt will be a reward during the Brilliant Event but also will be found in the game beyond the event!
