So my understanding is that you will be able to find everything BUT the unicorn hair on the ground. Last I read, that won't be dropping. Essentially just look for exstimulo potion ingredients minus any type of hair to meet that requirement.
@Dewin99 try pickup snowdrop, bitterroot or re'em blood to finish this one, sometime task strong exstimulo potion ingredients i just pickup abraxian hair too.
@Bormacska unicorn hair found in portkey, unfortunately no drop in field.
reminder: 2 potent exstimulo potions (normal brew time w/o master notes is 8 hrs each) to be “brewed” for step 1, so put them in your potion queue ahead of time today and then wait until brilliant week 2 start before tapping on them to collect. once you do that, put 4 healing potions into queue to start brewing for step 3 and again wait until step 3 to tap to collect. you’ll have some time, since step 2 requires unlocking of 3 portkey portmanteaus.
@kiheikid I wish I had read this before I added a Baruffios and TTD to my queue to replenish from yesterday. I literally added them in and then headed to the forum and read this. Totally forgot about the first set of tasks! 🤦🏼♂️
@MrSciGuy I did the same since I just found Erumpent horns in my portkeys today! I've got my part two in a rental, figured it was easier for me to leave them alone and remember what they were brewing for. 8 hrs gets you two potent with time to add master notes to both for shorter brew times.
Honestly the rental cauldron didn’t even dawn on me. I rarely use it (I’m stingy with coins). I have my two portents in the regular queue. Oh well, I just won’t be able to finish task one until Wednesday morning.
In the meantime I have to start searching for healing potion ingredients. I never really use that, so I have none of its ingredients stocked.
the step 1 required ingredients for pick-up were hard for da missus and me to find this morning, so much so, that we decided to go to two greenhouses and plant snowdrop for pick-up later. fortunately, there were a bitterroot and a re’em blood sitting right outside the first greenhouse - where da missus planted snowdrop anyway.
the step 2 required ingredients for pick-up were much easier for us to find, as there were 4 dragon livers, a dittany, and a bubotuber pus sitting right outside the second greenhouse - where i planted toadstool
so, our tip for finding ingredients is to try looking near greenhouses (and if you cannot find the ingredients, plant the seeds for them for picking up later)

as for the fortress fragments (brilliant portrait of severus and lily), i went 3 for 5 in tower-1 while da missus went 3 for 4 in ruins-4.
once you get those 3 fragments and place the image, you get the pop up message that your potent exstimulo potions will be good for an additional spellcast (ie 6 instead of 5) for the duration of this week 2 of brilliant lost loves event.
so, our tip would be to get and place these fortress fragments early ... and do not wait until step 4’s task to use 5 brilliant runestones. otherwise, you miss out on extra time during this event when your potent exstimulo potions are good for an extra 6th spellcast.
we’re done for the day and will continue tomorrow in putting distance on our portkey portmanteaus to unlock them so we can finish step 2 and then move on to steps 3&4 at the fortress again.
Bonus assignment requires opening 10 portkeys. Heads up. First bonus I may not finish as I try really hard to not spend actual cash on this game and I don’t have ten keys.
Walking up to 20 plus Km using my one gold key....probably not going to happen lol!! I can only drive around in the cold at 5mph for so long lol!

@Stirlingpiper Funny you should bring that up. I was just stewing over this very thing. The bonus assignment won't be accessed by most until late into the event. This is also the first time I won't likely make the bonus. I love a good challenge but this one is a bit rich; I think 1km brilliant portmanteaus might have been more appropriate to balance this challenging assignment.

@Bormacska - got bored and lazy at task 3/4, so rather than go to fortress and spend my healing potions there, i waited for an oddity trace ... it took awhile, and a pixie (all 26 hit points of it) finally showed up. let the pixie hit me without protego 6 times and took a healing potion each time afterwards, and then attacked back after using the 6 healing potions. felt rather silly creating opportunity to use healing potions in this manner, but it got the job done.
i have a decent sh.ot at achieving the bonus task of returning 30 brilliants to get the BBE reward (started friday late afternoon and currently at 19/30) but i won’t be trying for the other 3 bonus tasks ... the rewards no longer justify (for me) the effort and/or resources required for completion, now that my prof lesson plan is complete and while we wait for new lesson plans

@Majikum the horned serpent eggs will be in 2k portkeys for the CD, so that might be worth picking up a number of those if you need more.

Fyi, using health potions on oddities seems to work for the part three of use 6. My friend just used her six on two "Fluffys"
