Animation frame rate and touch-feedback on casting
Share your feedback on Harry Potter: Wizards Unite
This is actually some positive feedback, not a feature request.
Starting tonight, two things have changed:
1. The graphic animations are much smoother, and seem to be at a higher frame rate.
2. I'm now getting a nice tactile feedback as I trace out the spellcast line.
The only downside? The higher framerate of graphics does not seem to have more images/frames, and looks/feels like it plays too fast. I still prefer this sped-up rate though.
So it looks like we had a mini release or something. Nicely done.

@Keybounce the haptic feedback while tracing along with the improved frame rate in animation is due to turning off battery saver within WU app. I definitely notice a nice difference and prefer to keep battery saver off when I can simply because of that.
Sometimes, the animations will be comically fast. Honestly, I have no idea what’s going on when that happens, because it comes and goes. I’ve just always assumed it was glitchy behavior.
It wasn’t until well after the game went live that they finally released an update which included the ability to skip post-trace animations for map encounters and post-defeat animations for fortress foes. Some animations are fun to watch. Especially the ones you don’t see often. But it’s nice to be able to skip past the common ones.
Like @MrSciGuy says, it sounds like you turned off battery saver. I had no idea battery saver had that kind of effect and was always ooh'ing and ah'ing over other people's animations, thinking it was because they had a better phone/screen than me. Then I turned off battery saver for some random reason, and voila, my animations were just as good as theirs!
