It’s been a few days and while I loved the idea it could definitely use improvements. I’ve been moving and moving and not received one bit of credit for it. I’ve tried both health and Google Fit which do record everything but it isn’t registering with WU. I think I’m about to just give up now. As for rewards, I see a lot of people complaining about spell energy. Well for me I would actually love that reward, if I could get AS to work. Weird I know, but inns and greenhouses are few and far between for me as well. I do wish unicorn tails were easier to find. I see Health has access to everything but it just isn’t working for whatever reason and I’m not happy with it

@CBG92 let me ask you this...since you synced AS have you not had any of your steps tracked? Today I had walked around 3km and I didn’t see it tracked in my portkeys then all of the sudden my Portkey caught up if you will and went from 1km to 4.2km. To me it was like the Portkey caught up if you will and I think it was a cell reception issue. Maybe just maybe that is what is going on for you too?? I hope at least. I do wish you the best of luck!!!
@ClairabusGryff It did at first a little. Then I was stuck on 3.2 km for a few days. Now I’m randomly at 3.5. I guess it’s just randomly gonna do it then? Not as great as I thought it’d be but maybe I’ll eventually open some lol. I did have the game open a bit today though so I’m not sure if it’s working the way it should or if it just randomly started counting for me or what. All I know is I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, force closed health and every other fitness app, and that didn’t seem to work either. Maybe it just needs some time to be adjusted or I’m not doing something right but I sure hope I can get this figured out soon! Thanks!
I am not a tech guru like some of the awesome people on this forum but am hoping it is a cell connectivity issue for you. As long as everything is synced up on your device it should be working. I have noticed the steps I have walked not showing up until I have interacted with the game ie. picked up an ingredient or captured a confoundable as it happened again today. But if it continues then tag one of the HPWU admins on this thread and hopefully they can help troubleshoot for you. Good luck to ya!!
@ClairabusGryff I was just sitting doing traces last night and all of a sudden a bunch of them started opening😂 I’m not sure there’s an exact science to it so they might just be opening when they want to, so maybe you’re right. I usually have great service though so that’s odd. I’ve also seen people say the way they walk might affect it so possibly the way I’m holding my phone. I tried holding it to my side while rolling when the game was closed and it looked like it worked. I’ll have to try that theory a couple more times before I can really say though. Good luck to you @CBG92 and I hope you find a method that works best for you. It’s kind of trial and error right now. I will tell you too that while I am at work I keep my phone plugged in and keep the game on all day long. That gets me at least one Portkey opened a day if not two. If you are able to do something along those lines. 😁👌
