Hi, I'm fairly new to the game and don't understand how Wizzarding Challenges work. Can someone please walk me through it because I was busy during the tutorial so I have no clue what I'm supposed to do.
There was a tutorial? Hmm...I downloaded the game as soon as I got the email, but didn’t see anything about a tutorial. I haven’t needed one for anything else, but I haven’t done any wizarding challenges either. Haven’t found a fortress yet.
They happen at fortresses ( tall towers around the map, taller than inns). You get close to one and then you have to select a chamber. The higher the number the harder it is. After you choose the tier you need a runestone to enter. You get runestones from treasure trunks from family xp for each of the different foundables categories. Runestones have levels too. Going from 1 to 10 and the higher the number the harder the fight but the higher the reward as well (up to 3 times the reward at level 5 runestones). After you select one runestone you'll load into the fight. There is a timer at the top which indicates the time you have left to get rid of all the encounters. Enemies are going to appear as icons on the screen. You need to get rid of all of them ( a caounter is at the top right of the screen which tells you how many are left) before the time runs out and you are done. At the start you'll have only tier 1 unlocked and then you'll work your way up to the top.
@JL072UK just walk around your neighbourhood, when you see a tall red bricked towers, that's the one. You can touch it and then it will reveal it's name " blablaba fortress" walk closer to enter

@harrywalter sounds like the hunger games tbh
I have played too many challenges(level-5) but no friends available ever.
I don't see friend's use in here, what's the point to add friends from around the world?
How do you locate fortresses please???

@DrakeSaibot there`s no point w adding friends from around the world. Only for 20 friends achievement :D
BTW if u add local players and complete fortress w friends u will recieve additional reward.
