Why do the rewards disappear??

Didn't enjoy the CD. Seems like there is always just too much going on and its stressful rather than enjiyment with the community.
The event itself is a 3 hour rush. There are registry pages to be managed, along with putting on potions and managing two cauldrons. I missed claiming the rewards by seconds and they disappeared. Why aren't they available to claim for say an hour after the event? I feel so cheated. The whole CD amounted to zero and spoiled my WU experience rather than upping the excitement a notch.

Sorry your CD experience wasn't the best. For me personally, I like the intensity of capturing Foundables while managing Potions in both cauldrons and keeping an eye on my Barrufio's --but everyone is different. I think the HPWU team does a good job of changing up CDs from month to month in an effort to please "all of the people some of the time" but again, just my opinion. On December CD, I missed a goal by seconds so I feel your frustration. I still think this game has something for everyone to enjoy and I hope you'll keep playing.
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank you for the plentiful Runestone gifts you send me and (I'm sure) other friends. I'd rather have thanked you in private but I don't know of a way to do that yet. The Gifting function of HPWU has really increased my enjoyment of an already enjoyable game.

Hey Nurse! The gift exchange is fun and its good to have found few players such as you who can regularly send runes.
Was frustrated because I have played pogo for a while and they do give players a breather to do housekeeping activities within some time after the CD is over. Helps you sit with fellow players, enjoy and compare the spoils of war, etc.
Not quitting or anything but just sharing thoughts on how to make WU better. :)
