yes, was it worth it? I saw on one of the other social media sites that the Niantic crew went to see it, but didn't see an update of if it was any good...🤔
@Owlx - your question deserves an answer, I’ve been at work all day and had an unexpected late meeting hence the late response
It is perfectly true I have not read any of the books nor seen any films
At the time WU was released I had been playing Ingress for several years, got to L16 and ~65M points - then the interface changed significantly and I just hate it. If the interface were reinstated I would possibly go back to Ingress
However, I tried WU and really enjoyed playing. Despite not being a Potterhead, the game mechanics are quite good, interface easy to use and graphics white entertaining. What’s not to like?
And there are some fantastic people here - not going to name you, but you know who you are :)
So I kinda fell into WU rather than eagerly awaited its arrival. And WU is probably the game PokemonGo ought to have been
@OriginalCaruso😀 It is a great game and wonderful community on the forum. Glad you are a part of both.
WU is fun. I'm a huge Potter fan. So it's interesting to see the Potterverse thru another's perspective, who is new to it.
I started reading the books early 2000 a friend relentlessly hounded me. Then I re-read each book after seeing its movie. Then when my son was in the 2nd grade we read them together. One of the movies is usually on the a TV in our house.
I've heard players here taking about Ingress. I know its out there. But I don't really want to give up my WU time to try it.
My son is new to playing WU, he has me playing POGO. Not much in to POGO missing a story. Play with my son because he likes it.
So it's a blessing to stay connected with a tweenager!
@Owlx - Ingress is community orientated, it is difficult to play solo long term, there are two factions and no independents - well worth looking at though

Do tell @OriginalCaruso, how was it???

Sorry, I was walking past - I am too literal for everyone else’s good - and took the photo
Its a theatre in Cambridge Circus, London
I haven’t seen the show - in fact....
I haven’t ever watched any of the films or read any of the books
Gasp, shock, horror!!!
Haha @OriginalCaruso
But it is true...
@OriginalCaruso Nice pic of the theatre.
@Bormacska that’s interesting. I wonder what they thought of it 🤔
@OriginalCaruso Siriusly?
All are welcome at Hogwarts. Whether you arrive by book movie or game.
So with no experience with the Potterverse other than the game what got you into playing?
