Correlation between rune level and landmarks?

I’m sat in a landmark area and just opened 7 portkeys. For the landmark I got 3 runes, 1 x 4 and 2 x 5


Co-incidence or has anyone else noticed this?


If it is a “thing” then the implication is to open portkeys within landmarks to increase rune level


Alternatively it could be coincidence

    Silly question here @OriginalCaruso but how did you get runestones from portkeys? And when you say landmark area you mean one of the family flag areas?

    And yes, I mean a flagged area

    So then you received rune family frags from all the same family I take it if I am reading your note correctly. I have easy access to a pink area and could test the theory as I have 5 portkeys to open tomorrow. I can test it out and let you know.

    I've got a full rack of portkeys nearly ready to open, so I'll try it out too.
