Consistent spell energy or inn density

I don't live in a small town, but between my work commute of 20 minutes and my home there are 0 inns to recharge spell energy. There are 0 inns within a 10 minute DRIVE of my work (in the city) and only 1 within a 10 minute drive from my house at a playground. 1. Numerous parks and social areas completely devoid of spell energy. This game is unplayable, pokemon go was a pain as a result of a similar issue, but at least Starbucks, Sprint and every park had a stop. This is just ridiculous.

    They need to seriously reconsider the spell energy balance in this game anyway. I have a few inns I can get to (with a little bit of a drive but not too bad)... but even then, I usually get 3 energy on average from an inn - then have to wait 5 minutes or drive to another inn to get another 3 on average.


    The ROI from inns is very poor. And the 100 coin cost for 50 energy is also pretty high considering all other variables that USE spell energy.

    Pokemon Go was not even near as poor as this one is. Out of all three major Niantic games, I think they handled this type of issue best in Ingress. But at least PokemonGo was manageable. It's very close to unmanageable in this game.


    Please, Niantic... do something about the energy balance. It's hard enough for me and I live in a city (Flint). I can't imagine what it's like for suburban and rural players.
