I just never liked how they’re displayed separately, below the fold, so I edited my screenshot to present things how I think they ought to be. Cleaner. Takes up less screen real estate. Starting over with a different book would make so much more sense. Like maybe opening up new fortress chambers that would reward a different kind of challenge XP, leading to these new books for new lesson plans. Of course, I'm not a programmer, have no idea how to code that, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
@ClairabusGryff hubby (MZ) and I (Prof) are constantly looking at each others books. He's piling up green books, I'm piling up red books (even after spending a bunch on auror...). If only we could gift/trade...

I really hope in the future they allow us to gift any item of our choosing like scrolls, books, DDs, ingredients etc....it makes sense! If we want to send them & the recipient agrees to receive then that's no problem right!? I don't know why that's not a thing!
@AuroraKadavra imagine someone creates 10 alternate accounts, then plants and adds max energy to toadstools. Then each one of the alternate accounts could collect 9 toadstools the next day. If we were able to gift our ingredients, this person could send all of those toadstools to their main account, ending up with 99 of them from one planting.

And so put it in google, went to images, and i wish i could share the pic (some words not bot friendly lol)i just took of the first coloured one i clicked on- not noticing (as you know its just colours, sparkly & shiny that interest me- facts & details- meh!) its tagline was hilarious maps of Massechusetts! Oh my days, literally guffawed!

@AuroraKadavra i don’t ever think up ways to cheat or abuse any system because that is not my personal operating model. Not sayI got that it is @MtPolluxs way either but it is always the 1% of people who manipulate and take advantage of something that ruins it for the other 99%. In my experience that is... But how or why would someone want to create dummy accounts? I don’t quite understand the thought process of that except of course what Mtpollux said above. Because it is a “thing” that must mean people have done it before.
As for the 🍄🍄🍄 this past week I was in a situation where I was able to put 50 spell energy into growing toadstools and be there when they were done and got 7 of the 9 and then one day I was able to put in I think 25 and I got 4 of 4. I would happily do that once or twice a week if I knew I would get what I am using my hard earned SE for. And for the most part I have been so I will keep doing that.

I didn't really think you'd be able to make it out here on your trip, it was a bit of a lark. That map of Massachusetts you found is great. Most of our population is in the east, near Boston. Even though it's a small state they think the western half is like a wild foreign country, thus the bit about dragons.
@ClairabusGryff - for the first time since before december community day, my wife and i have been finding leaping toadstools on the map (for me: 8 total, via 4 pickups of 2 units each, within the last 24 hours or so). someone out there must have heard your clarion call “release the shrooms!”
@ClairabusGryff my l9cal greenhouse is like that! Theres often 6 or 7 of the 9 straight out, but then i have to wander about the greenhouse boundary a bit til the rest come out- I'm so determined to get them all that il wander 5-10min if that's what it takes for them to come out lol!

I don’t have easy access to spelll energy so I work hard for it. I have read on here that some forum members have a greenhouse or an inn at their place of work or at home. I am blessed and grateful to have a fortress that reaches my office so I spread the love with runestone gifts but spell energy is not easy to come by for me.
Welp, finishing the Darkest of Times and Book Night events pushed me into the 5k scroll club. I’ll be able to finish my lesson plan with the second half of the Lost Love Brilliant event. After that, I think I’ll take a break until we get a second lesson plan for each profession. I suppose that could end up happening very soon though, since we’re sitting on the cusp of a big update. Who knows what awaits us in version 3.0?
Based on the past, the most likely one is 2.10.0 though as an increase of the "major version" has certain requirements that I find unlikely to happen at such short notice.
I think you’re both wrong @Lucoire and @OriginalCaruso. I think the next release will be 7.0, because that’s how it works in gluten-free-flat-earth-homeopathic versioning, which everyone knows is the new standard.
