Suggestion: ‘Dropping’ ingredients
Anyone who’s played wizards Unite for a while would have, at some point or another, (or most everyday) deleted some of the ingredients in our ingredients vault because we don’t have space in our vault and/or can’t increase the size of the vault yet. Lately, with some potions requiring a lot more ingredients, more rare ingredients that I’m afraid to delete, my ingredient vault gets filled up quite often. So I wanted to offer a solution or put forward a request, however you wanna take it.
If you play Ingress, there are a couple of things you can do when your inventory gets full. One, you can drop some of your stuff. Onto the map. If you bring this to WU, it’ll also be a great way to trade ingredients between players. Just drop some of the unicorn hair you have in plenty while the other player has none and they drop some toadstools which you have absolutely zero of. Win-win. Wizards uniting after-all. Another example that comes to mind is when you are visiting a friend who can’t get around much and don’t have even ingredients spawning around them, you could drop some of the ingredients for them to collect. It’s like gifting, but location based and the ingredients are not random and come from your own vault! Wouldn’t that be good?
The other thing in Ingress is that you can ‘recycle’ your inventory and it gives you XM in return. This would be an awesome feature in Wizards Unite, if recycling ingredients gives you spell energy! Would be extremely helpful for players in rural areas as well!
Devs! Please think about it!

The issue with that is that in ingress, everything "dropped" on the map can only be picked up once and by one player (and then it's gone). Whereas in HP:WU everything appearing on the map can be picked up once by EACH present players - as they see only their own version. There is no "competitive" picking-up in the game.
So the Devs - assuming they implement it - need to make sure that it can't be used to "duplicate" items.
(example: Player 1 dropps an ingredient, players 2, 3, 4 pick it up and drop it again. -> now there are 3 of those to pick up by Player 1)
Edit: And even if they did implement "player dropped items" to be picked up only once, you could then "steal" stuff - which is kinda against the cooperative nature of the game)
(and please don't misunderstand - I really, REALLY like the idea of doing more with your items than just deleting them. But getting the technical details figured out AND making sure that they're in line with the fundamental principles of the game AAAAAND avoiding exploitabilities... that's hard. Look at how pokemon-trading was implemented, ask yourself why it was implemented the way it was and ask yourself WHAT they tried to prevent by doing it just like that)
