Pfffff! Mostly manageable but the completing a challenge in your highest chamber will be a push. Will need to do some serious potion brewing for that - I usually avoid soloing dark chambers.

@Magpie31 - not to worry ... that is the one that apparently will be replaced by a new task - i think “defeat 30 fortress foes” or something like that. someone pointed out that many players were “dragged up the rungs” in group battles on a previous community day but cannot necessarily do the same as a solo player
@Bormacska - yes, noted ... question remains if this event’s 1 green book is a make-up green book (in which case all future brilliant events will have 15 green books per “week”/part) or yet another advance (in which case a near-future brilliant event week/part will once again short us by rewarding only 14 green books).
@Li11ee - i have no willpower; went ahead and did the bonus task of defeating 30 foes today, and will redo on friday or saturday for the 12 Tasks event; really hoping SW9 won’t s-u-c-k
Looks like I won't get to the bonus task before then anyway! I went out today and still have 3 more ebublios to cast, despite using potions and dark detectors and giant "Oi! Over HERE!" signs.

@Magpie31 that is me with horned serpents. The three I have caught were at the airports in Washington DC.
@kiheikid me too. I have heard bad fan reviews. Then again most fans hated the GoT ending but I thought it made perfect sense (my husband did at least and when he explained it I saw what he meant).
@Li11ee Star Wars isn't out until Saturday for you guys? It is already out here. I nearly went this morning but was trying to sort out a problem with my new shoes. Also, when I went to the cinema last week, I fell flat on my face. Darkness, steps and crutches don't work very well!
You know what would be awesome to go with this 12 Days/Tasks of Christmas task?? The 3rd movie in the Fantastic Beast series. So sad it isn't coming out this year and have to wait 12 more months. But that's OK i am going to watch HP movie 3 tonight. I try to pace myself with re-watching the movies this time of year. I could totally binge watch the movies in under 2 days but it is 27 hours of movies including FB.
As for the FINAL Star Wars movie I will see it as I have seen every single movie in the theatre and my whole family are SW nuts. Our ranking goes:
#1 Star Wars (this will never change)
#2 Harry Potter anything (This is my personal #1)
#3 Game of Thrones - looking forward to the 83 spinoffs that are in the works
@HPWUTeam Did this event start early or is there a bug of some sort? I seem to be getting pop ups saying that Im completing tasks for the 12 days of Christmas event, but when I check the Special Events page, it still says 12hrs till start.
@Magpie31 um, my husband and I have tickets for 12/20. I wasn't clear on that, sorry. I believe the first showings were today 12/19. I am still working on finishing the event though let alone bonus stuff and things and such.
-My dad was a Star Wars/Star Trek freak and passed it to me. He was the definition of dad jokes. The amount of Star Trek jokes he made has probably never been duplicated.
-My husband loved GoT books so he was why we watched. He would have to explain every week who those people are and why was I supposed to remember them. It was the same with TWD .
-Unfortunately I am one of those snobby people that only like the HP books.
@Bormacska I may have been a little sarcastic on the amount of GOT spinoffs in the works. I know for sure of one coming out in 2020 but there are several others in the works. I believe the correct number is 6.
@Li11ee I totally forgot to put in TWD in my list. That is a personal one of mine as I have read all of the graphic novels and watched the first episode live on 10/31/2010 and have been watching them since. Shows what a dork I am.

But as to the 12 tasks of Christmas starting in 3 hours and 15 minutes, I can't tell you how excited I am...I have the next couple of weeks off and am so excited about Christmas this year and of course this event is just the icing on the cake for a great end to 2019...
Question for everyone here...I only get my HPWU information on this site. When the 12 Tasks/Days of Christmas event starts has anyone seen any information about us being able to OPEN more then 10 gifts during this event? With the increased awesomeness of the gifts and so many tasks around accumulating and giving gifts it only makes sense for us to be able to open up more gifts as the bottleneck is holding up things. Not to mention I am in a place where getting 30-50 gifts a day I am getting to the place where I have very few friends who I can send gifts to as they are in the same bottle neck I am in. I am crossing my fingers. 🤞
Awards for great spell casts hahahahaha my husband hates the spell ones. For all his video game awesomeness I kick his backside playing HPWU. Not that we are competitive at all...

defeating those 30 foes is the same as one of the bonus assignments for christmas calamity week2
so wait until friday dec. 20th and then defeat the 30 fortress foes to k-i-l-l two birds with the same stone - woohoo!!
