Last month.... Ugh. Despite getting the proper time last month, I felt a little short changed, as some regions managed to get 4 hours! I felt really bad for those who only had 2 hours!
i was at 12/15 for hagrid’s hut. this afternoon, i went grrrrinding with my COMC runestones, and of 7 COMC runestones used in tower chambers 2, 3, and 4 and fortress chamber 1, i managed to get to 15/15 and place the image for hagrid’s hut. (also got 1 fragment for a puffskein, and got rooked in the remaining 3 challenges)
i will try again to grrrrind for winged abraxan horse fragments, since i was not successful getting any today.
goal is to place image of winged abraxan horse before CD (or at least get to within 1 or 2 fragments max of doing that, so i can do 1 or 2 special blue portmanteaus during CD as necessary), and then just grrrrind for buckbeak (currently at 4/11) on CD in hopes of prestiging that registry page

@kiheikid you know I will send you whatever I can for Runestones as gifts. I have found that the most common Runestones gift I receive is either CMC, Oddity, or Mysterious Artifacts(the pink ones).
Also in one of the links above from gamepress one of the notes is during CD to open all extravagant gifts as we will receive 3X the Wizarding XP for them. I have never thought to open gifts with a Baruffio before to double the Wiz XP. Duh! So on CD if I were to open 10 extravagant gifts I would receive 15,000 Wiz XP if my math is correct...right? Awesome!
I am **** towards 35 which is a milestone level. And I only need some 215 red spell books which should be about 9,821 more fortress battles! 🤣🤣🤣 JK I have no clue how many battles that it is because I don’t want to know! That number scares me!!
I'm curious if barrufio's would increase gift xp @ClairabusGryff . Its description says it only doubles xp from traces, challenges, and portkeys. I know that it doesn't double XP rewards from completing tasks so I assumed that it wouldn't work on gifts. Has anyone tested this yet? If I make it out of the house today I'll test it out and report back.
i had assumed that if wizarding XP gets tripled from BBE on CD, it also works to be doubled from BBE in regular times ... but i am glad you @MtPollux can try to test it in regular times.

Also I went to a sponsored fortress this morning and played 10 times and out of the 10 I got two extravagant Runestones gifts! So let me know when you are ready for a Runestones gift Kihekid!!

almost tempting to keep those extravagant giftboxes until CD but that might be neither efficient for recipient nor considerate to givers, this early ... maybe a day or two before CD i will start to save any extravagants for CD to get the baruffio triple dip
hmm, i must have done something wrong ... i popped a BBE and opened two separate extravagant giftboxes ( extravagant runestone giftbox from @ClairabusGryff and extravagant spell energy giftbox from mrs @MrSciGuy aka snukywookie — big mahalo for these generous giftboxes). each rewarded the standard 500xp (in addition to other standard rewards for that type of giftbox) but not doubled by the BBE. i did traces in the wild and wizarding challenges in the fortress and in each case received double xp due to BBE during the half-hour ... just no double xp from giftboxes due to BBE.
Hmmm @kiheikid that’s odd. Your boy @LekeyVelder said he saw that it doubled. He did said it doesn’t show up on rewards as doubled but when you go into suitcase before and after it shows there in the overall.
yup, i’m curious as to what happened (went wrong). today, when opening giftboxes with BBE running, i was only checking the rewards animation and did not see the BBE boost there. if i try again before CD, i will also compare before and after xp scores inside the suitcase.

I compared the XP received from gifts with a brain elixir active and it did double the XP. It just doesn’t show it on the gift rewards page, but you do get double the XP if you check in your suitcase.
These were opened consecutively. So extravagant spell energy gift first (251913 to 252913, so 1000xp received), then normal spell energy gift (252913 to 252963, so 50xp received) and finally the dawdle drought ingredient gift (252963 to 253113, so 150xp received)

@kiheikid when you open an extravagant gift (while you have a Baruffio's going) the gift shows 500XP but when you look at your wizarding XP in your suitcase it will show you received the 1,000 like Imaginatio showed above. I tested the theory and wrote down my wiz XP prior to opening anything.
I typically pop a Baruffio's when I have more then 2 portkey's to open and have plenty of spell energy to just go hog wild and conquer any confoundable that comes my way. I typically net around 10k wiz XP points when I roll out a Baruffio's. I have a set pattern of where I plant leaping toadstools and plant 5 every 24 hours. Some days I am able to harvest them and some days I am not. But I don't have the ability to brew one every 24 hours but maybe I need to budget my cauldron's time better! :):)
@Imaginatio and @ClairabusGryff - thank you so much for confirming that the BBE boost is there via before and after looks at xp in suitcase, just not shown in the giftbox reward animation sequence.
i’ll tag @HPWULola here so she can let @HPWUTeam know ... i can understand if they don’t want to go the extra mile of coding the giftbox animation sequence to show the BBE’s triple xp boost for just three hours of CD, but they should show there the BBE’s normal double boost.

Looking forward to actually finally levilling up this sat if i can!! Its been slow going lately not got out much but cant wait for CD!

@kiheikid BBE can used only for trace, fortress, and portkeys. Unfortunately not effective for gift XP, so be carefull.
