does anyone know what was in the mystery box that was part of rewards for completing task 4 of christmas calamity brilliant event week 1 ?
No clue. I thought it was a gift to give to friends, but my number of those remained unchanged. I then thought it might be a complimentary gift in Diagon Alley but nothing new there either. It never shows up anywhere...
Could it be a sticker of a Christmas present for your ID portrait?
just noticed there was a similar mystery box reward for completing task 3 as well
is it still a reward, if someone gives us something but we have no idea what it is, or even where it is ?
@HPWULola - any light you can shed on these two mystery boxes would be much appreciated!
@Magpie31 possibly! Wish I kept track of the portrait effects to know for sure 😅 otherwise I’m curious about those mystery boxes too @kiheikid
@MrSciGuy - omg, almost did a spittake full of coffee
I also was perplexed but was able to find the answer! There are animated portrait stickers that are rewarded from the Brilliant Tasks! Since animations would be difficult to show as a task reward, they put a gift box instead! Good idea, but also quite mysterious..!
@MrSciGuy Confession: My Brad Pitt movie trivia game is weak, I had to ask @HPWUMicah what that screenshot was from 😂
@HPWULola - thank you for the answer. btw, i suspect that brad pitt movie meme was before your time ... excuse me as i go take my senior nap
@ClairabusGryff see Lola's response above about the mystery gifts.
Thanks @HPWULola! I was wrong about the present but right about stickers! I usually pay no attention to stickers, but those snowflakes are stunning. I am very, very tempted to use them!
@HPWULola haha yeah it’s from an older movie called Se7en. If you’ve never seen it, definitely check it out. Mystery with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. Then the “what’s in the box?” reference will make total sense!
And thank you for the explanation of the mystery gift reward!
Thank y’all! I didn’t see this thread!!
I feel so old on reading Se7en referred to as an older movie. But Jewish! It is, isn’t it!
