I just want to say that I love how pretty the Christmas Calamity event is 🥰 from all the snow to the sparkles to the Yule ball attire. Favorite! And the 3 broomsticks pub is quite fantastic too. What is your favorite part of this event so far?! 🎄💃🏻🕴🏻🍻 I haven’t decided yet but the crystal ornament with Hermione and Viktor and all the sparkles is up there lol

@LadyRedIII I loved everything about the Christmas Calamity event. The devil's in the details, so they say and HP has always been amazing at the details. Have you been to Universal Studios in Orlando? Diagon Alley is AMAZING!!! I adored Madame Maxime and Hagrid the most honestly. But the idea of the 12 tasks of Christmas playing off the 12 days of Christmas was AWESOME! I would have liked to see a new task release at midnight for the 12 days leading up to Christmas or New Year's so it would be more like the real 12 days of Christmas. Maybe next year?
I am just looking forward to what they will be doing for other events. Like Valentine's Day...maybe they will release the "love potion" and that will attract more traces or make them easier to catch, I don't know. I just look forward to what they will be doing.

I have not been to Universal Studios in Orlando for a couple decades ( holy voldy I sound old now😅). I’ve been wanting to go back but it’s not close at all. Hopefully a summer vacay can be planned that includes some wonders of the wizarding world 😉🧙🏻♀️

@LadyRedIII the last time I went was like 5-6 years ago right after they opened Diagon Alley. I hear they have improved it and so I am wanting to go back soon. Like within the next decade soon! Hehehe

@LadyRedIII my dad lives north of San Diego and I will be going there this year. I don’t know when as of yet. I haven’t been to Universal LA do they have Hogwarts there too? I thought it was only in Orlando. I know they do have the Walking Dead attraction which I am a die hard WD fan too. So we should plan on making that happen this year!!

@ClairabusGryff do you have a time frame in mind for your trip to SoCal? I’ll be traveling to the Midwest for part of the summer break but could possibly go down depending on your timetable 🥳
@LadyRedIII when I went to the Orlando Universal studios my daughter and I LOVED the butter beer and had it everyday. We also ate lunch at the three broomsticks which was awesome. Then in Knockturn Alley at Borgin and Burke’s I bought a vest with the dark mark symbol and love it so much. As well as a HP quidditch shirt which I wear every week. Not to mention Gryffindor pajamas. This may sound cheesy but when we arrived at went straight to Hogwarts and I saw it in the distance I cried. I have only done that at three other places - the Colloseum in Rome, the Louvre in Paris, and Notre Dame also in Paris.
