Solo players chance to find others for challenges

The game has emphasised a couple of times that it is designed for group play.
This is fine, when you go to school and know lots of friends who also play WU.
However, we live in the country and kind find anyone to play with, as the game makes it impossible to meet others, so it can not serve as a tool for perverts. Granted.
So, my wife and I do what we can to meet other players. Here is what we tried:
1) We installed "radar" and other apps (like chats),
2) we put an ad into KIJIJI,
3) we carry wants around while playing so fellow players may recognise what we do.
4) At night time we even go out in our Hogwards student outfits (lots of fun and gets us lots of smiles). However, we simply do not find any fellow wizards and witches.
Finally we were able to convince someone to put WU onto her phone, just to help us out with one specific task.
After that she did not continue playing.......and will probably delete the app soon.
Cheating, by installing the app on another device would be easy for me, but is against game rules . I won't do that. I consider myself a "pure blood"......hahahahaha....
Anyway: any task, that requires 2 or more players brings us to a frustrating, **** halt, as also reported by others, from what I have read.
To at least make fortress fights in groups possible, can we not get a "wicket portmanteau" that will transport us into a "remote" fortress, where we could meet other players one way or another - and if maybe just by chance?? There should be some sort of work around possible for this.
So PLEASE game designers: keep in mind that there are thousands of solo players out there, who do not have a chance to play with others, for whatever reason. To give groups an advantage is somewhat discriminating to those who are perhaps shy, handicapped, introverts or otherwise (like geographically) limited.

I do not know anyone else that plays and cannot complete task or assignment that requires 3 teammates to complete 3 wizarding challenges, very disappointed that there is not a way to discard that for another task or assignment as I will never be able to complete it. Sad thing is I play daily and never see anyone playing HPWU just Pokemon players everywhere as I play that too.
