is there a simple explanation for the difference between what kinds of lessons that red books are used for VS what kinds should of lessons that green books are used for ??
is it solo versus group play ?
is it hexing foes versus charming self/teammates ?
i can’t quite see the forest for the trees yet on “philosophy”/purpose of red book skills vs green book skills. sure would appreciate a cogent and coherent explanation, please. thank you in advance.
by the way, a jinx on anyone who regurgitates a bot answer on *how/where to get* red books vs green books ! that is not what is being asked here.

From an Auror perspective @kiheikid, all of our major hexes and single charm are routed through the green books. Stamina, power, defence, and accuracy are routed through red books. This is super basic description and I'm guessing that @Acumen or @Ginnungagap could give you math and better specifics than I as to their thoughts on why books are in a certain pattern?
Beats me, man. The way I originally pictured it is red books are for core skills and green books are for special skills. There's quite a lot of overlap though, since green book lessons serve to further enhance some of your core skills, like power and defense. I think it would make more sense if green books were only used to learn strategic spells, but that's just me.
@kiheikid I don't know if this will help :
From Orange Wizard again.
@Bormacska - looks like the posted instagram link is either broken or incomplete but i appreciate your trying - what is it ?
Sorry, let me post the image itself. I'm just lazy this morning. It doesn't explain books really, but for visual people it does lay out professions back to back. So, in reality not really the right page to post on.
still informative
and orangewizard’s graphics are the best
