Something strange Ive found that works!

Ok- i may be teaching many players to suck eggs as they say here- and I'm just very slow at catching on (which is the norm)
But i thought I'd share this just in case....
So- in addition to the trick I've found that using the basic Exstimulo which is easier & quicker to brew instead of dawdle draft seems to hold & catch those awkward confoundables like the portraits or a certain one you need to prestige. Obviously doesnt apply to severe or emergency threats, they need everything & the kitchen sink as we all know.
Another thing I've now tried and tested to work 10/10 times once i started counting last week- is - again- only on low or medium confoundables that are being just downright stubborn- so for example it's the ministry guy, low threat, youve thrown 5!!! Great casts at him! Still resists! Whaaaat!! So I'm losing patience at that point- then ive realised.....if you come out after a few goes where you know it should have normally benn caught 1st or very least 2nd cast, .....and then click back on it, do your normal cast & it gets it, first go, as it should have done in the first place!
Many of you probably have been doing this for a long time! And I'm sooo slow on the uptake 😂
But if you haven't, and like me were coming out very annoyed and wishing all sorts of terrible things to befall that confoundable & leaving it in a complete huff!! You could try just doing 3, maybe 4 casts , come out....breathe.....go back in- hey presto! 😀

Have noticed this too!
At ~L30, implemented a two cast policy for the Mid and High tier Foundables. This has saved a truck load of Spell Energy and what little sanity left, 😉
Because a lot of what I need is super rare here, will typically run through a spawn by popping in and out just to see what they are. In doing so, can sort out which Foundables are "Real" versus "Phantom". The "Phantom" rate can be very high if WiFi is enabled or if GPS is sketchy.
The Odity events are awesome! The flee rate is minuscule

Glad it's not just me doing that with the confoundables now & yeh it was such a joy during the event to get so many oddities that can't flee!
@Owlx totally get ya on that one- its hard sometimes to give in & come out cos u just don't want be beaten by a low level threat!! How dare it resist!! But if u know it just appeared as u clicked on it, so can be pretty certain it'll still be there when u come out, it's defo worth a try- I'm finding now it works every time & saves my sanity! 😂
@Imaginatio I'm also too stubborn to let one go. I remember the brilliant unicorn being the worst; my current record is 18 casts. Fortunately my skills have improved significantly since then. 💫

I know right - how dare it be stubborn and resist and then even worse, depart! 😂 I will try, probably on the foundables I still need for the registry when I’m not moving. Let’s see.
@ZookiTabooki 18 casts 😯👀 That’s a lot. I haven’t ever counted. Usually, once I start and get through a few casts, I just keep thinking ‘just one more. It will work on the next one. Hopefully. It’s worth a try.’ And also sometimes, ‘If you can be stubborn, then so can I.’ 😂
It’s okay if it works in the end, the worst is when it decides to depart on you and it’s not even rare and it was a masterful cast. Why foundable? Why? 🤦♀️ 😂
