Landmark change

Hi! Today when opened the game found that landmark flag has changed in my area. Yesterday it was Hogwarts school, now it is Magical games and sports. Can't say that I am complaining xD But weird thing is that all other landmarks around were not changed. At first thought that there was rotation of some kind, that would really be cool...

Anyway, my question is - did any flag change somewhere also? Or this is glitch?

    Are there any new buildings or new ownership of an existing building in your area? Perhaps something to do with sports and fitness?

    I noticed that a Care of Magical Creatures flag in a park was completely removed. Annoying in the sense that oddities used to spawn outside and now they don’t appear anywhere near there. But I haven’t seen a flag being switched around.


    I know a flagged area area that is both Legends of Hogwarts and Dark arts, but it only has LoH spawns. Still haven’t gotten a handle on AOIs and how they are nominated.

    @Acumen No, nothing changed... Also noticed today that next to univercity landmark also changed from Hogwarts school to Magical games and sports. Feels strange :)

    @LeFayeofAlbion Yep, also saw that Care of magical creatures flag disappeared from the park nearby, but foundables still appeared :)

    Exact same thing happened to me both the park and the sports flag by my building. Those are the only two that have changed though. Now there are two sport flags right next to each other.

    I noticed this same change by my work as well 9 3/4 to Games & Sports

    Both of our Hogwarts School (9 3/4) flagged areas were changed to something else. One, with a public library that is also an inn, changed to sports, and the other area changed to Magical Artifacts. So we no longer have any Hogwarts School flagged areas. Extremely frustrating. Niantic needs to remedy this and change them back.
