@Dewin99 Check your local weather online. Generally they get that information from NOAA. It could be a river with potential flooding close enough to you or "small craft advisory" for boats etc. In the summer we were getting it for pollen counts and excess ozone.
We got it here over the last week for extreme rain and possible flooding in areas near rivers, but because NOAA named the entire county, it took driving out of the county to get rid of the warning. Don't mind the fact that it was also perfectly sunny all day. 😅
We get that a lot around my town, I always find it really funny. Really does seem like the world's about to end even though sometimes it's not even raining :D
We got that dot this morning because of a freeze warning... it was 31 degrees last night. I guess that's dangerous if you're not dressed for the weather, but it's a good thing we have greenhouses for growing our ingredients out of the cold😁. They might want to rethink the categories that trigger the message.
@Dewin99 I know this is an old Post but...I get it all the time. They're linked to the weather & it's a safety measure. They want to keep everyone safe, & not have anything blame shifted on them so to speak. If you're walking outside playing the game & there's a thunder storm on the radar, just like a softball game or what have you, I believe they put that out as a precautionary measure. 😁

Just ‘normal’ Welsh weather to be honest (rain, rain and more rain).
God only knows when (or if) I’ll ever see a dragon in the wild!
we have gotten a similar message in-app when local tropical storm warnings are in effect

I pretty much have a permadot for warnings. We have alot of bay wind warnings affecting boats. It doesn't affect land weather at all.
