@HPWUTeam & @HPWULola Can I suggest ‘Dragon Days’ for the 1st of March (St. David’s Day in Wales) & Chinese New Year please? I’m not sure which dates would be best for the Peruvian and Antipodean dragons, but it would be great if every region was treated equally.

I have given up on the rare ones, and will give up on the game soon if the inbalance is not corrected soon. Not only are rare rare (duh!), but they also flee more often, making all rare extra rare. And I swore off the dawdle draught, since I used it twice and both time the confoundable feld right after taking the potion. If the draught can't even keep the confoundable once, what use does it have?
I am only an occasional player (done the daily from the start everyday, but not much more) and if that is not enough for the makers to make me complete some registry pages once in a while; the game is clearly not for the "daily" players, but only for the unimployed and very fanatical.
ah well, i see now that this has become a rant, which was not my intention. Glad that you all enjoy finding the rare ones. I am just cross that when i finally found one, it is 1 of 12 i have to find... there is no progress

Yesterday I got my 8th Fawkes...I saw on here that so many people have had issues catching him so when I see him I use a Dawdle and a Potent. I have seen him 11 times but only have 8 fragments so when I see him I don't mess around.
The one I need the most is Tom Riddle. The first time I ever saw him was November 4 and have 2 fragments out of 15. At this rate it will be the end of 2020 before I can prestige that page. 🙄 I do like how recently the HPWU team has been doing events and CD's around a specific page as that will help with some of these UBER rare foundables. So thank you HPWU team for doing this...
Tonight I got a Grawpy but have already placed him, my Whomping Willow I messed on Monday, tank of brains, Firenze, 6 Vampires, and 2 Werewolves. It was an epically good night. Not to mention tonight alone 28 gifts of which 4 were extravagant. I took my daughter out to eat and it was an epic event. Although it is funny when my 16 year old daughter is telling me to get off of my phone.
I have a theory...during Brilliant events rare confoundables are less frequently seen. This morning alone I got Quidditch Harry, my 9th Fawkes (that's 2 in less then 12 hours), and the Foe Glass. All three of these within an hour. During Brilliant events I am lucky to see one rare (emergency or severe) foundable in a 24 hour period. Anyone else think my theory holds water?
@ClairabusGryff - i’m with ya on this observation and theory. last night i saw tank of brains and grawp pop up right here in my den, within 10 minutes of each other. it seems like they open the floodgates again after each event, so you get that initial surge a bit. 👍🏼
had a unicorn appear but depart/disintegrate ... so stunned by its appearance that i forgot to pop a dawdle draught.
wouldn’t it be nice to have a setting where, if we turn the option on, dawdle draught is automatically taken from our vault and engaged whenever foundables on a preferred list (that we can edit) appear ?

Too many people in the US went for the wrong dragon portmanteaus on Day of the Dragons... Hopefully they’ll bring back non-regional ones again.

@ZaansGroen if you stuck rare, use potent. This is make easier for severe and emergency, use it wisely.

third young tom riddle in a week, and this one showed up without my having to go out - woohoo!
i did have to invest both a dawdle draught and a potent exstimulo potion, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do for those red-plumed (emergency) prizes.
