Hopefully I'm understanding your question... You're looking for the purple Oddity trace symbol. There will be either a red or orange beam, depending on where you are and your native dragon. If you tell me what region you are in, I could tell you red or orange, unless you know that already.
PNW I believe. Is Idaho considered PNW? Or just west? Lol
I think the dragon in my region is the Peruvian vipertooth - it’s the only one I have found so far (4 fragments).
Oh that's right, you're in the Boise area! Sorry!! Yes, still PNW I think. Also sometimes called Inland NW. And yes, Peruvian Vipertooth. So it will be the purple trace with red beam. Same as the horned serpents.

I find both Chinese Fireball & P Vipertooth.
@WitchHiker You will have found the fireball as part of Day of the Dragons, but if you see two regularly, you have quite the coveted glitch!
