Red dot for assets to download

I know what y’all are going to think.... why would anyone want to see the, ahem, red dot? But I honestly for the life of me cannot figure out why they removed this red dot for assets to download. Out of all the red dots to choose from... If any red dot should be seen, it’s this one!! Thankfully I checked after the update out of habit, but it looks like many others rely on that red dot, and their data consumption has suffered as a consequence. Also, the random assets before an event or CD, that red dot is super helpful. Please, on bended knee, bring back this one red dot!🙏🏻

That is the one place where the red dot is needed. Why would they get rid of it ?
This is a case where I would prefer a popup in game when it loads like at the start of events. "You have previously downloaded assets to your phone. There are new assets available. Would you like to download them now?"
@Ginnungagap That's common sense, it'd never work.
I'm good with both tbh, as long as users get a prompt! The pop up can be an initial reminder there are assets to download. If someone declines that pop-up, there should be a red dot as a reminder, hey, look at me, don't forget to download!
@Dogoutlaw yeah. There especially needs to be messaging upon the first install/load of the game. The options could be "download, " "download later," or "don't remind me." If they choose not to be reminded, then they don't get any more notifications unless they specifically choose to go manually download assets. If they choose download later they get the red dot. Since a decline would be a one time thing it really isn't any kind of nuisance compared to how much this would help so many people.

I wholeheartedly agree with the above, I don't know how you all are dealing with this, but I keep checking for new assets because of all the events this month, and it's not the type of habit I'd like to form. Assets are essential to how you use and experience the game, so if it were up to me it would be the only red dot, or as described above, a red dot as a reminder after you've had a popup, something like that would work much better.
