For myself, once I get enough wizard challenge fragments (in this case, the Malfoy crest) to place that foundable, I stop using them until Part 2. Just in case the foundable for part 2 is hard to come by. So I don’t save a certain number, I save whatever I have.
in week 2, again there are 3 fragments to collect from wizarding challenges aka fortress battles, so to be safe, accumulate as many fighting forces briiliant runestones as you can (and at least as many as it took you to get all the malfoy crests and satisfy the task in week 1 of this brilliant event)
I used 8 to get the crests, and have 32 in the bank.
I was planning to see how many I could save up by the end of the second week and then use them in a big session to try and finish of some of the Joke drops.
The event on Halloween is going to be using Dark Arts runes, not the brilliant runes. Oddities during the upcoming community day will be randomly dropping Dark Arts runes to help out with that.

some of the fighting forces runestones used in a fortres gave me no fragment of any event item and some gave me fragments I already had complete.
What did I do wrong?

If you don't use all the fighting forces runes during week 2, can you use them after the event in any fortress or should I delete any leftovers?
@ivygram you can use them. They’re lovely to have leftover once the events are done. Have fun storming the castle!
