Oh where, oh where has all the dittany gone?

I typically have such an abundance of dittany on the map, that I frequently have to dump it to maintain ingredient balance for other potions. Wormwood is so hard to come by for me, so when I see a branch I grab it and it turns out to be dittany. During this event, used a lot of healing potions, but can't find dittany anywhere!

It often feels like feast or famine, seems to come in waves. Your neighbor two miles away might be swimming in the stuff. What I would like to know that since it is a plant, why can't we get dittany seeds and grow them in the plethora of greenhouses out there? So when you get really desperate you could at least grow some.
I have that same issue. And when I have space in my ingredient vault - I can never find what I need. But as soon as my ingredient vault is full - I stumble across all the Erumpent horns, lovage, toadstools and more that I have no room for. 🤨😝
