Did I miss the event?

My game is showing the next event starts in 13 days. I must have missed reading that this event was less than 24 hours.
Shorter events are fine by me but it may not suit others to do this on a Wednesday.

@WerewolfChaser part 1 of the event is still going on, it should last for a week. This is what I see on the special events page:
@MtPollux Thanks for that. I restarted my phone and it's working for me now.
I was just as confused as the other day when I had these notifications waiting for me in the morning.
I think a few people had that bug, but glad it's working out now!
