Oddities, Dark Forces and Beasts

With the forthcoming Fighting Forces brilliant event soon upon us, I am a little confused about Death Eaters being categorized as Oddities. I presumed that Death Eaters would fall under Dark Forces, like I am presuming Dark Wizards do. Am I mistaken? What about Acromantulas? Wouldn't they fall under Beasts? I also thought that Dark Forces and Beasts would eventually get their own family and frames. Now I'm not so sure.

I’m not sure if this helps, but I think of oddities as foes to fight on the map. They can be anything, any category. The categories in the fortress are beasts, dark forces, and “curiosities.” When it was said there would be an increase in death eaters and azkaban escapees, I took that to mean brilliant foundables, which will be on the event frame. Although I could be wrong on that!

Oddities are a bit of a weird thing. (badum-tss)

If you look, there is already a Troll guarding a Dragon Egg in the CoCM category, then came the Dragons event and somehow there were other Dragon Eggs, now in the Oddities. A Centaur's bow is somehow an oddity too.

The Registry probably needs an overhaul, as the categories are weird and overlap. Some Foundables are extremely obscure, while others couldn't be more famous, and yet the more famous items, which should in-story be known to everyone and have a strong emotional connection, thus be more common, are rare. (I'm not sure how a duelling dummy or the Daily Prophet Stand make the cut, the Marauder's Map, or the Weasley clock are known to a handful of people, while someone like, say, Harry Potter, or Dumbledore, should be everywhere. )

"People/Beings", "Places", "Items", "Beasts" might make more sense, and you could have "Oddity fights" with some in each of those categories.

"Magizoology" is a way to shoehorn in stuff from those movies, but why would a unicorn be in that category? Why a troll?

    It's weird.

Wow! Now that I've had a chance to think about it, I have had this misunderstanding about oddities from the start. I can't imagine how many threads I have peppered with info based on this misunderstanding. Yikes! Moving along now.

@ZookiTabooki it looks like I was wrong about the death eaters and Azkaban escapees! There's a new page! And it has Fluffy (at least that's what it looks like to me...)!!! I can't wait to see Fluffy in an encounter!

Just pointing out for those that may not have noticed, the image here seems to imply basilisk as well as female dark wizard...
