Green houses: where do they work?

I live in a relatively large town (150.000) in Holland, very near the centre, and have several green houses in walking distance from my home. However, all green houses are rarely "busy growing something". And if they are, it is mainly because me or my daughter has started the growth. So i was wondering if or how the green houses work in other places, because in our town we rarely do anything with it (not worth the effort...)

I am in the same country, medium sized city (118000) and here, it's rare too to see a busy greenhouse. I think this is because of two reasons:

    • I get the feeling the Wizards Unite community hasn't really taken off. I think this because it's very difficult to meet other players. I have seen only one other, during community day, by sideways glaring at their phone to see if there was a dragon on it. :) While with other games, we very often see large groups of PoGo players, for example.
    • Greenhouses don't have a lot of use at the moment. Most ingredients you can find on the ground, and if you manage your inventory right you don't need greenhouses at all, except for the leaping toadstools. I plant these every two weeks or so, depending on my dragon claw loot rate (which is totally random).

    In short:

    Same here.

@Jeroenix This is a little random and I apologize... But are you on periscope by chance?

Leaping Toadstools are the main reason to use a greenhouse. Plant, max the energy, harvest. Difficult to find enough for the Baruffio's otherwise. I occasionally have a shortage of Wormwood too. In those cases the greenhouses make sense. I have found people harvesting toadstools that I planted, that was nice to connect.

For finding players - look for, or create a Facebook page for players in your area and/or a Discord page. I live in Maryland, USA and we have an MD/DC/VA facebook page and Maryland Ministry of Magic Discord. Both have led to scheduled play times at a specific location in order to complete Achievements, have more people in Fortress battles which increases challenge XP greatly, and overall just meeting new friends.

@Dogoutlaw Nope, know it exists, but never used it.
