Quickly collecting "returning" foundables

Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere, but I noticed yesterday that if you KNOW that you've successfully cast a spell and will return the foundable if you click or swipe the screen on the foundable it quickly returns (without the animations!).allowing you to move on and catch another.

No need to apologise to start with. The animation ‘skipping’ is part of the recent update. Happy hunting!
