The fortress is a different color and carries a banner that says "Sponsored". The fortress on the front left is normal, the one behind and to the right is sponsored. You can see the sign at the bottom.
@RelaxLah I read in on of these posts (and sadly cannot remember who) mentioned that not all countries have sponsored fortresses? Which could be why you haven't seen them yet.
@Bormacska probably me. I've mentioned it a few times (good memory, haha). Never seen one here, not even for pokego! Maybe if I went to Sao Paulo capital they could have them there? Although probably not.
Uk only has sponsored inns at EE phone stores. I read that only the US and South Korea have sponsored fortresses. Hopefully working on more partners @HPWULola so we can get these benefits too?
@Dogoutlaw , @Unsubliminal , @Acumen The majority of EE locations I’ve come across are inns, but I have come across at least one EE sponsored fortress.
Ah, that’s interesting @Imaginatio. The AT&T stores here in the US were a mix of fortresses and inns during the first couple months, then they all switched to fortresses.
@Acumen that’s interesting. No idea what they have planned for sponsored locations; it would be nice if there were more sponsored fortresses, but I don’t know how I would feel if all the sponsored inns turned into fortresses, since I like the inns as well. It also looks like these locations are limited to a few countries, so it would be nice if there were some in other countries too.

In the US you can find sponsored fortresses at Cricket and AT&T stores and at Simon Mall properties.

They’re more white than brown. Pic is probably easier... found on google.
Ha, ha @Dogoutlaw! I win.
😂😂 D’oh!!
Thanks ! Yet to meet any sponsored fortress.

It was one of the more regular wizards /witches if I recall... @LeFayeofAlbion, @JulieJubz?
Or my tbi has gotten the better of me and I made the whole thing up! 🤪

We don't have anything sponsored either (Australia). I know over the pond in NZ are in the same boat as us.
I’m a little apprehensive that only the States have sponsored locations... hopefully I’m wrong!
@Dogoutlaw The UK has sponsored locations as well.
@Imaginatio oh yay! I tried googling other locations, but maybe my googling skills were off today!
@Dogoutlaw Don’t worry, even google decides not to work sometimes. I’m not sure about other countries apart from the USA or the UK though.

@Dogoutlaw, EE is a sponsor, so there should be sponsored fortresses at their shops all over.

it'll be white when it's open and black when it's closed (business hours of whatev company/store runs it like at&t etc).
