Given that many players are new to RPG genre and how to effectively use the profession tree, i would encourage the game producers to provide a "Respec" option that is both a ONE TIME use; and, a USE GOLD fee.

The utility is in itself, a necessary tool once a player realizes why certain profession is selective in its skills.

I implore you to explore and augment this feature, so players no longer have to abandon accounts to start anew.

Respectfully, considering dumping this account to start over...

keep going - eventually you hit a point with skill tree resources where a second or third profession is inevitable, else resources stack up unused

At the time of writing I am L35 Professor with 929 scrolls awaiting use and at the point where starting a second profession seems a sensible option. Completing Principles of Professorship is some way off due to the number of both red and green books required. Red books are becoming more difficult to acquire as the points increase but this is down to how much time I spend in towers whereas green books are a function of completing Special Assignments

I am holding off starting a second profession for two reasons

Firstly I don’t need to make the decision yet, until I have completed all red book upgrades within Principles of Professorship I don’t want to spend red books on a second profession which would be too tempting and compound the issue

Secondly there is the promise of more lessons coming soon for which the scrolls will come in handy - I hope future lesson will be less book intensive

    Just my $0.02 worth...

@OriginalCaruso I support your logic on your chosen path. I told my wife (Auror) to hold off training a second profession for the same reason, waiting to see what skills they release. As for me (Prof.), I opted to start training a Magizoo. What's funny is how fast I have been able to scroll out every possible thing I can without committing a single red or green book. I'm back to piling up scrolls again.

I'm now thinking training a second profession is a much bigger commitment than I initially considered. I think once I have completed principles of professorship, I will complete training Magizoo before I move on or I may never train it at all. Once I have both trained up equally, I will continue training them both simultaneously. It's a huge commitment but one I think I'm prepare for.
