Thank you! I have been unable to find any yet, but I now know to concentrate on my Portkeys more.
Are the silver keys for portkeys easy to come by? I have 4 portkeys ready for the second brilliant event but wondering if I should just use them now to try and get more PDC before Saturday’s community event and open more portkeys afterward.
@LadyRedIII You usually get silver keys when you level up. During some months they are also provided as one of the daily treasures. You may also get them as an extra reward when returning foundables - it doesn’t happen often but it is great when it does. You can also buy some with you gold from diagon alley.
As the community day is great for brewing brain elixirs, you may want to have a look at how much PDC you have and then decide accordingly if you want to use your portkeys or not. It’s completely up to you how you want to go about it. In my case I’m going to try and unlock as many as I can and use them just before the community day event while using a brain elixir. I don’t mind more PDC, but I don’t currently need more, I’m just hoping I’ll get some unicorn hair. After that I’m planning on having at least half the spaces empty for the start of the 2nd part of the Brilliant event so I can pick up some more Brilliant portkeys. I have a few silver keys which I’m saving to use on them if I need to or just to use on 10km and 5km Portmanteaus if I end up getting them before the event.
Imaginatio- what does using the barrufio elixir do when you are using portkeys? And thanks for the answer 😄
@LadyRedIII They are 2x exp. Port keys can give rather good experience now and then and they don't take long to go through so it is a good idea to save up unlocked portkeys, use a baruffio, open all the portkeys, and then proceed catch everything.

@LadyRedIII The brain elixir doubles the XP you get. It does this for when you return foundables, when you complete a fortress battle and also for any XP you get when you use your portkeys.
Portkeys are weird and have a mind of their own, so you don’t always get xp from them, but if you have a couple that you decide to save and open them together, chances are you will come across some XP. So for example if without the brain elixir in use you get 1000 XP from a portkey, with the elixir this will be doubled to 2000XP. This will help you level up quicker.
Also, in case you didn’t know already, when you encounter a confoundable for the first time and defeat it you get bonus XP, so if you use a brain elixir at that point all the XP you get will double. This is a great thing to keep in mind at the start of a Brilliant event because you always come across new confoundables, so it’s great to use a brain elixir before encountering any of them.

I hadn’t noticed that I get extra XP when encountering a confoundable for the first time - but you can bet that I will be paying closer attention now. I’m looking forward to the community day and the second part of the brilliant event - just trying to learn as much as possible beforehand. So thank you again!

Btw, you don't need to free slots of your inventory. After last month update they will add to your vault even if your vault is full.
