Throughout my many years as a part-time, semi-professional gamer I have naturally come in contact with numerous developers, administrators and the like. With that in mind, never before I have seen such a reactive group to player input. From the first few weeks when you increased the energy returns from Inns, then decreased the distance for event portkeys while increasing rewards for higher portkeys, then there was the increased spawn rates for Exstimulo potion ingredients and now we have a portable lure potion and free energy when we level, all based off your response to our requests. Not to mention the prompt response to the bugs we have faced. To all of our administrators, moderators, developers and the many other people that keep our addictive hobby rolling thank you for truly listening and for your continued dedication to improving and enhancing HPWU!

I'm not a gamer at all, unless you count playing bones (dominoes) at the park. I've worked in various areas of IT for about 20 years now and most of my peers are gamers, but it was never my thing. Like a lot of folks who were attracted to this game, I'm just a fan of the books/movies.
I liked the concept of Pokemon Go. It sounded fun, and I knew a lot of people who were playing it when it first came out. I was an adult when Pokemon became popular in the US though, so I never got into it. I realize this probably wouldn't have kept me from enjoying the game, but I just never got around to installing it. My son played it for a while with some of his friends though.
When the idea of a Harry Potter equivalent first started to circulate, I was super excited. I was a young adult when the first book came out too, but I fell in love with the story while reading the books to my son. It's funny that I became the Harry Potter fan and not him. He and his friends are mostly into D&D.
My son stopped playing PoGo after a several months, but has recently started playing again just so I can have some company while I play HPWU, which is awfully nice of him. He's a good dude.
Anyway, this is my first real gaming experience, and it feels appropriate to start off with a cool little mobile game based on a story I love. It's an easy game that doesn't require any super hardcore gamer skills. Honestly, it feels as simple as playing solitaire, only it encourages walking around. I sure love it though, and I feel fortunate that the first popular mobile game I've decided to play just happens to be backed by a very impressive development and support team.
Thank you, @HPWUArcosu, @HPWULOLA, @HPWUMicah, and any others I've interacted with personally. You've been great and I wish continued success for you and your team. I'm excited to see new projects based on Niantic's real-world platform.

♥️I'm so glad to read this!! We appreciate all your feedback so much. The Harry Potter books and movies were a big part of my childhood, it is so lovely to still be connected to that everyday! My sister and I would play the computer games and Lego Harry Potter all the time, too! I love how creative this game is, I really feel involved in the Wizarding World! Playing with the music on is truly magical, I feel like I'm on my way to hang out with Harry, Ron, and Hermione :)
I also feel the creators and developers have done a great job. I have followed different games through the years, and I have not found this much response and innovation from a game before. Multiple times I see changes in the game as a result of things I have seen people have concerns about. Time and time again I am blown away by this game and you guys have truly captured my attention and imagination.
Amen to this!!! Loving the responses and adjustments (most of then at least)!!! It is wonderful to have such wonderful people running the magic behind the scenes!!! I never played games like this. Never have time. Yet, I find myself making time to play this obsessively!!!!

is it possible to use the colored port keys that were used for eggs events as replacement t for what we currently have. ( use red for 10k. Blue for 7k, etc) that way we can pick the port keys we want... other option would be able to delete the port keys we don’t want to use.

Absolutely here for this post!! I've sung my praises time and time again because it's all true! You guys do so much for us, and I can't thank ya'll enough for all the love and patience, especially dealing with a forum where it's constant posts to go through. I mean, I just read and go through posts daily, and it's a big chunk of time! I know you guys get paid to do it, but it's still amazing work, and I'm so thankful for the wonderful admins we have 💜
