Event started and people are reporting Erumpent horns on the ground, yet for some reason, I see none. None so far in the brilliant portkeys either. I got dittany. Again. Is the game mocking me?
I swear, I think I’ve been hexed! People are getting doxies during daytime, I use the tonic during dawn and I still don’t get any doxies. I’m a human doxy repellant. And perhaps since I expresssed my concern regarding the poaching of the Erumpents for their horns, I think the poachers are giving me a wide berth and hence why I am not getting any horns. sigh looks like I might have to give in and spend some money to buy the 2 tonics necessary for part 2...
I feel your pain! @LeFayeofAlbion Stick with it & try and open some Portkeys. I usually stockpile mine and open all 8 one after the other with a Baruffio. 3 of which were Brilliant Portmanteaus.
I got lucky and managed to get 5 Erumpent Horns, best haul ever!
@CeruleanGirl whoa! That’s cool!I rarely come across 10km portmanteaus (only 2 so far) and I keep getting dittany. I don’t know what’s with me and dittany!
@LeFayeofAlbion The game has its mood swings with wizards by the looks of it, but don’t worry they don’t last long. I’m sure you will get some Erumpent horns. Just keep an eye out and continue to open those Portmanteaus. 😊
@LeFayeofAlbion I haven't seen anymore doxy since the two yesterday. Really hoping for more soon! And I've also yet to see any horns. Really hoping those will show up soon!
I had relegated the new tonic to the 'do not use' shelf, right next to Baruffio's. So emrumpent horns have been piling up in my vault, along with silver keys. But now with the possibility of encountering regional dragons with their use during this event, I feel justified renting that second cauldron, which is now awash in pink. I love it when a plan comes together. 😎
@ZookiTabooki I actually found a bunch of horns during the last community day, and so I have 5 tonics. But I'm a little afraid to use them right now since there's still part two. But I'm glad I made the tonics and didn't use them!
With the current Fighting Forces Brillant event part 1, I have found the erumpet horms mainly in portkeys. Several times I have found them on the ground like other ingredients. One side note - I have only found them when opening Brilliant Portkeys from this event.
@LeFayeofAlbion I have only seen doxies at dawn and erumpent horns during the special events. Some of us just have that luck! I did however, manage to get one (never enough for the potion) in a batch of 8 port keys opened today. The rest? Dittany, snowdrops, snail shells and sneezewort! *sigh*. I totally feel your pain!

It's a Lancashire thing aswel as Newcastle - would normally be said along the lines of 'aye, i were reet chuffed butties tha knos!' Ooh- just noticed that's nearly Thanos! Lol- thats how you would pronounce it with the gap. Another term i use often is ' 'ows tha fettlin'?' Which means 'how are you doing?'
So ' 'ows thas all fettlin wi them there rumpent 'orns?- ive been reet chuffed butties wi mine int' portkeys tha knos' 😀😂😂
@Dewin99 Thanks! After this last brilliant even I am now overly full of Erumpent horns myself! 😂 However, I must now hunt down the elusive unicorn hair and oddly missing snowdrop! It seems there's always something to be on the hunt for in this game!

I’ve found about 10 Doxies and 3 Horned Serpents since yesterday, all during daylight hours, and most, but not all, while I had a Tonic active.

For example, when asking someone if they've eaten yet, it is pronounced, "Jeetjet?"
When a large group is preparing to depart we say, "I reckon all y'all are fixin' ta git."
And phrases often mean other things.
"Bless your heart" actually means, "You're more screwed up than a pile of wire coat hangers."

I’ve got 39 of them at the moment (Brilliant Portkeys have been super kind to me), and would gladly help others who are in need of them.
