Is there any chance of getting that 3-hour window for the bonus dragon expanded to a full day? I know several fans that are going to be in the air, at weddings, etc—I’m sure the change would be greatly appreciated!
Yep, not really sure why this one should be limited to a small period. Not like community day when the focus was getting people together for challenges. I'm going on holiday and won't be able to play at all at lunchtime.
@Caeleon congrats! Hope you have a wonderful day- I get it though, i would be sooo tempted to be saying 'i do love you very much....but i just need to catch 8 dragons first ok' 😂
It really is tough on weekend workers & such though that they can't enjoy the chance! Someone said on a post like this once that they could make it the 24hrs, but your 3hrs window starts as soon as you catch your first dragon- so the time still limited but we can choose when have the time to fit it in? I dont know how much extra work it is for Niantic to release lots of dragon codes in the right area for a 3hr slot or for a whole day? Is that a lot harder in design terms? Im clueless on the technics, but it's an idea.

I definitely like the idea of starting the 3 hours after catching your first dragon. Unfortunately I babysit on most weekends and will only get about an hour of play time.
Also wish there had been more notice because then I could have at least worked around it and maybe started working later. :(
@ZookiTabooki they said it about community day, and having to miss out on that one- but I thought the same scenario applies to the dragons -so starting after you catch your first seemed best way?
Maybe they'll consider it for the next 3hr event to let everyone have a chance to have their 3hrs start when they first engage with the activity.

It would be nice to have days actually last for a day. Once more, for the window we're given I will be stuck in a kitchen making a birthday cake.
@DubiousAffairs We are are having our wedding anniversary... Yaay!
Would be nice to appease the OCD of my better half it it lasted a bit longer.
@Caeleon Congratulations !
@Caeleon! Congrats!
And yeah, I agree. Would be great if the ‘DAY of the dragons’ is actually a whole day.

Whoever said that was spot on, what a great idea!
