What's up with the game today?

Noticed that the game reduced potion brewing times, decreased the distance to walk a portkey and I seem to get more points for challenges in fortress. I thought we were supposed to get just one of the rewards after fan fest. From a programmer perspective, looks like that someone did engineer the algorithm very well and is having a hard time to chance the code to accommodate the changes required withe the new rewards after fan fest. Niantics will drive the programmers mad with all let's constantly change the rules of the game strategy. From a players perspective, thank you for making it easier.
