In-app timer for the global event Bonus please

What the title says (sorry I’m really tired)
Just having calculated the time zone equivalent of the “start time” of the bonus, it must have started here at 10:30 PM. However it’s now 1:35 AM and though I’ve returned many foundables and done fortress battles in that time, I have not received any bonuses. No XP bonus, no shortened portmanteau walking distance, no shorter brewing time. I hope they will be activated soon here, because it doesn’t seem to be.
But please, include an in-app timer for how long these bonuses will be active. Everything seems to be happening off-app that if I’m not following all social media, can calculate time difference at a glance, it’s all so confusing.
