Anyone knows what source data HPWU uses for it's maps? Because there are a few roads missing in the area and I would like to see them added.

I'm not positive about this, but I believe it's Open Street Maps.

Ah great, then I can edit it myself.

I also believe that is is OSM, however there was another post that indicated that it was a very old version of the map data. Doesn't hurt to keep OSM up to date but it might not show up in the game anytime soon.

@Osprey1 that would make sense, prevent people from maliciously changing things to impact the game. if i could use an older version map souece then current live version i would do so as well. let edits have some time to be peer reviewed before allowing them to impact the game world.

uses osm but it hasnt uploaded any changes since March-April 2019 when they uploaded the data for the pre-beta. And there's no word on if/when they will update. Also there's 2 diff. data sets (as from pogo) 1. is visual ie what you see on map (roads, ,buildings etc) 2. is 'nests' or in WU flags/landmarks. From pogo they update 1 more often than 2. but even then either/both are not updated more than once every 2-3 years. So, imo it's not worth it (editing or even vandalising osm to get what you want in-game) as you may edit something 'today' right or wrong and by the time WU updates someone else or a lot of someone elses might have completely removed your edit(s).
