Doxies.... Where are they???
I’ve been playing since the launch. I’m level 26. In NJ, USA.
I have never seen or come across a Doxy.....
i need 2 for the SOS challenge....
where and when when can I find them....
FYI I did a search on doxies and couldn’t find a thread on them!

I too have been playing since the launch. I've seen 4. I noticed that it is usually during dusk and dawn when they appear. I'm on the same SOS challenge. The last doxy I found was about a month after the launch and haven't seen any since. Hopefully they will start appearing more often soon. Happy Wizing!
Doxy only appears at dawn. Where? Just like other oddities.
@Celtic67 I have caught all my Doxies and the 8 Leprechauns I needed this morning between 5-6:47 am. This generally when they appear along with the rest of the Oddities.
You will have to set your alarm and take a stroll. I went to the Whole Foods and there were 4 Leprechauns clustered together and 1 Doxy. Bingo!!! I was on a roll, the rest started popping up all through the shopping center.

Lucky for me I leave for work at 5am. I average 4 or 5.
Yeah, they only show up at sunrise. (Around 4:30-5 o’clock.)
So, Doxys (Doxies?) Show up at Dawn. I believe the time frame is 1 hour before and 1 hour after your local weathers scheduled sunrise. Look that up, and you have your time window. As for where, I found the most in shopping center parking lots, a mall, **** mall, etc.
Once we found out the time frame, my wife and I tried hunting at a few parks we frequent and didnt find a single Doxy. As we were driving home we noticed they were popping up in various parking lots. We decided to circle our mall parking lot and were able to place in the registry that morning.

you have to make the commitment to get up early enough and then, in a team of at least 2 people, go for a drive from shopping mall parking lot to shopping mall parking lot, or other oddity hot spots you might discover
i was at 15/25
went out this morning (saturday) before sunrise (about 5:45) for a drive, in a team of two
my wife would tap on every oddity trace that came up on my phone if i was driving at the time (lots of leprechauns and centaurs). if it was a doxy, i would find a safe place to pull over and park, then take back my phone and deal with the doxy. sometimes the doxy will have attacked me multiple times but it is not a big deal because it does very little damage to me per hit while my stamina is high enough to not worry
in big parking lot of shopping mall, just drive big S curves from one end to the other, and one side to the other, and pull over and park when you find one. at 6-7am, those parking lots are empty
in the last 5 minutes of dawn today, i got my 10th (25/25). then, because of current bugs from 2.4.0 update and my fear of getting ripped off by app glitch, i rebooted phone, then placed the image that took me from rank 65 to rank 65*, then re-booted again, then prestiged the page from plain to bronze
so i got 10 in about 90 mins. and my wife got 7 (she had started at 20/25) and once she placed and prestiged on her phone, she paid more attention to tapping the oddity traces on my phone than on hers, but still managed to get 2 more for herself
funny thing, we both have identical iphone models and sat side by side in car, yet about half the time the doxy would appear on one iphone but not the other - how can that be?
anyway, i am sure my experience today won’t necessarily be the same as anyone’s, but i share it here in case you want to give it a try
ps - i bought my wife a nice breakfast afterwards
