No, you can still get the fragments from brilliant portkeys. Yeah it's harder to find, but theyre there. Maybe you can find them while opening some dragon portkeys. Just keep some slots empty for brilliant portkeys. You can't see brilliant portkey if your portmanteaus/portkey slots are full.
The event ends Tuesday morning my time. I still need one Brilliant Portkey for the registry sign. But I’m concentrating on dragon eggs until they’re gone. So basically, I’m only picking up dragon portmanteaus right now. They’ll go away tomorrow morning at which point I’ll pick up regular portmanteaus hoping for my last brilliant needed. Even if you open after event ends on Tuesday, it should still give you the fragments needed. So just make sure you pick up enough brilliant portmanteaus by the event ending time.
