Light bulb moment

I feel so dumb right now, both because I hadn’t figured it before and also because I could be hilariously wrong.

For so long, I had been wondering why there were statues of boars on the Hogwarts Gate. And then, the new brilliant event showed one of those statues as a foundable. Then, people have reported getting paintings of a boar during fortress challenges after this new update.

And I thought. Why boars? Why not, IDK phoenixes or dragons? Unicorns? Thunderbirds?

Then it hit me!

They are not boars! They are Hogs!!! Hogs guarding Hogwarts gate! On the way from Hogmeade!


(I suck at zoology so I don’t know if boars and hogs are the same. Also since they are winged, I had just assumed they were that guy from Greek mythology, whose name I forgot)

    Lol. You should additionally Google "significance of pigs in harry potter." Very interesting theories that seem very well founded.

    I absolutely love it when moments like that hit and we finally understand something we didn't understand before ❤️
