20k potion ingredients achievement

Maybe this is posted here already somewhere but I haven't seen it. I tested the achievement count a few times when picking up seeds and watering cans and found that even though these aren't necessarily potion ingredients, they DO count towards the achievement. So make sure you're picking those up and deleting if you need to.

    This is a good tip. I keep forgetting about this achievement. I finished the gold level on some of the other difficult ones pretty quickly. On this one though, I'm still at silver and I've only picked up just over 1k out of 2k. I feel like I've picked up a LOT more stuff than that, but obviously not. The fun part is, like all the other achievements, once you finish the silver level the amount required multiplies by 10 to complete the gold level. I don't know if there will ever be a global apocalypse, but if there is I imagine that will happen before I manage to pick up 20,000 potion ingredients. 😄

    @Acumen I know!! I also found that the amount you pick up makes no difference. Clicking on one icon only counts for one for the achievement even if you get six out of it. Does that make sense? Like if I pick up dragon liver, even if I get five, I only get one towards the achievement. So you actually have to pick up 20,000 individual icons!

    Makes perfect sense @Shailan, and that’s probably why I feels like I’ve picked up much more than I have.

    Fab tip @Shailan , i have been picking up things & delete them quite often but just to get exactly what i need, il start doing it with more of a focus now- thank you 😀

    i have completed this achievement, 20k ingredients.

    now i only keep what i need to brew the specific potions i want and am enjoying the 'decoration' and 'ambiance' provided by the things scattered around on the ground.

    completed 08/15/2019 at 10:32 a.m. central time usa. (wish the completed achievement showed the date of completion, had to go dig through screenshots to find it)

    my suggestion would be to keep deleting everything in ingredient and seed inventory after filling the potion queue. it is a lot less management in deleting things if you keep getting full every 5 items picked up.

    i still have the stock 200 ingredients and 50 seeds inventory caps, i never spent coins on raising them.

    would also recommend not deleting unicorn hair, if there was one ingredient to hold onto, that would be the one. just my opinion.

    It would be nice if we could sell extras for coins instead of deleting....making a little.

    @Digitalis I concur with the unicorn hair, can never get enough. I would have said the same for Abraxan Hair for awhile as it was getting so rare for me at one point I even complained about it. Not an issue anymore as I seem to be getting a lot more nowadays.

    I like your suggestion to delete everything else once the queue is full. I have so much access it makes sense. Thank you, just improved my game large. 👌
