So you once again have nerfed professors
We already do the least damage against proficient targets, are the most focus potion demanding, require extra hits against oddities, and are the most time gated with restricted books - assuming the atrocity of red spell books is changed.
So you removed the proficiency bonus application on Det Hex? What the heck? I already have to skip at minimum 1 enemy with det in a solo run if wanting to not use potions and get my defense buff on myself. Why are the professor spells so focus heavy?
Seriously when is our option to respec so everyone can drop the class and go magi now

From what I can tell, it appears to be a somewhat neutral update. While Deterioration Hex no longer scales with proficiency, it is also no longer negatively impacted by a foe's defense or when a foe dodges. There's been no official mention of it however, so it still isn't clear whether any of this is intended or a bug. Everyone can certainly have their own opinions and yours isn't wrong, but it's not the same as mine. On paper, overall performance compares reasonably to other professions. For team play, professor brings a lot to the table, but I can see how some primarily solo players might prefer to go with magizoologist or auror simply because their particular strengths and charms sound like they'd be more useful to you. Honestly though, I've watched players of all three professions solo the Dark chambers and there was no noticeable difference in difficulty with completing those challenges. People get VERY bent out of shape over minor bugs or nerfs that impact their professions, claiming it gives them a major disadvantage, but I think it's much ado about nothing.
