Tapping the screen during traces

Greetings fellow witches and wizards,
Does anyone else tap the screen after tracing the spell? I thought at first it might help, then it was inconsistent, but now I'm thinking there's some logic behind it. What that logic is...I have no idea. But there are times when if I don't get the foundable on the first try, I tap the point where the spell is swirling. The point pulses and I try to match the frequency of my taps with the pulses. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. There are times when I tap, don't get it and re-trace and I'm not sure how I decide, but I don't tap on the subsequent attempt and I'm able to overcome the confoundable. I'm sure it's all in my head, just wondering if others have these thoughts as well. Loving the game! :)

I do it out of habit now. I'l run the trace, then I'll trace the swirly swirly, and then I'll tap the white spot as the foundable apparates. I have no idea if it does anything... it's just become habit. LOL
If these things are real, then that range bar is meaningless.
I tap all the time and every time I think to myself, this is not pogo why on earth am I tapping the screen yet still continue to tap XD
Magical thinking is appropriate to this game ..... ;-)
