You mean here on the forum? Just click on the little bell button that's next to a star button and your avatar button up on the right corner of this page. You can also click on your profile and there's a place there where you can choose what notifications you want, etc :)
Hopefully that's what you were asking, apologies if it wasn't!
Not quite. I mean where those forum notifications will send it to the OS, so we get notifications on our phones or the browser. Google search:
Web Push Notifications or Browser Notifications
@Caffeine01 As it stands right now, our forum accounts and our game accounts are linked in login only and in no other way (directly). I do believe they are planning on allowing more inter-platform data transfer between the app and our forum account. This is something that might be available within that but I'm not sure. Personally, I'm ok with no push notifications (although of course it would be opt in/out anyway) but mainly because I check my forum notifications periodically.
It would be nice to have that option to select when you get the notifications (i.e. replies, tags, etc.).
@Craeft If I could post a link I would. The notifications wouldn't come from the game account but from the forums account sent to web browser app like Google Chrome or Firefox. In other words the website would send the notification via JavaScript to Google chrome or any browser that supports that feature and then the browser would send the notification to the user. You may have gone to websites and got an alert asking if that website could send you notifications. If you opt in then the browser will relay the sites notifications to the end user as an OS notification. Most sites I opt out, but for this forum it would be ideal.
